Salatiga Juara 3 POPDA Jateng 2022
SEMARANG – Euforia Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Daerah (Popda) Jateng 2022 telah usai. Pada ajang penjaringan atlet berprestasi menuju Popwil dan Popnas yang diikuti 3.333 atlet se-Jateng, Kota Surakarta menjadi juara umum. Kabid Keolahragaan Disporapar Jateng Aria Chandra Destianto mengatakan, Popda 2022 menjadi pengobat rindu, saat event olahraga banyak ditunda karena badai Covid-19.
“Popda ini harapannya bisa menelurkan bibit atlet potensial, karena kita tahu dua tahun tidak ada pelaksanaan. Euforianya luar biasa kemarin, kita menemukan beberapa bibit atlet potensial. Harapannya di Popwil dan Popnas bisa jadi juara, yang terdekat Popwil, kemudian Popnas 2023. ” ungkapnya, Rabu (20/7/2022).
Adapun perolehan akhir medali, Kota Surakarta menjadi yang teratas dengan mengumpulkan 29 emas, 31 perak, dan 25 perunggu. Tempat kedua diduduki Kota Semarang dengan 24 emas, 21 perak, dan 30 perunggu. Kota Salatiga menempati posisi ke tiga dengan 11 emas, 9 perak, dan 14 perunggu
“Juara satu Surakarta, kemudian Kota Semarang dan Kota Salatiga. Salatiga juga cetak atlet banyak, terutama di atletik. Kita ingin cari bibit unggulan untuk event nasional dan internasional, ini tolok ukur, jadi evaluasi dan bahan masukan pelaksanaan ke depan terutama untuk pencarian bibit atlet unggulan,” pungkas Aria. Palembang – Festival Olahraga Rekreasi Nasional ( FORNAS) memasuki edisi keenam tahun ini yang dihelat mulai 1 hingga 7 Juli 2022. Upacara pembukaan sendiri sudah dilakukan, Jumat (1/6/2022) di Rowing and Canoeing Regatta Course Jakabaring Sport City, Palembang. Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Zainudin Amali membuka langsung acara ini. Kota Salatiga dalam kegiatan ini juga berpartispasi dengan mengirimkan beberapa perwakilan yaitu SENAM TERA INDONESIA (STI) Kota Salatiga, ASOSIASI INSTRUKTUR AEROBIK DAN FITNES INDONESIA (ASIAFI) Kota Salatiga dan ASOSIASI SENAM KEBUGARAN INDONESIA (ASKI) Kota Salatiga ada beberapa kategori yang diikuti oleh Kontingen Kota Salatiga, yaitu Lomba Senam Disco Tera3 Nusantara (DT3N) Beregu dan Perseorangan, Lomba Senam Kebugaran Indonesia dan Lomba Senam Poco Poco beregu dan kelompok. Kontingen asal Kota Salatiga juga berhasil memperoleh beberapa juara harapan dan berhasil menjadi juara favorit 1 dan Favorit 2 dalam kategori Gerakan Pernafasan lanjutan Perorangan, selain itu Kontigen Kota Salatiga juga berhasil mendapatkan Juara Harapan 1 pada kategori Gerak Pernafasan Pokok Beregu dan Salatiga berhasil menyabet juara 3 yang di wakili oleh Senam Kebugaran Indonesia (SKI) dalam kategori Senam Kebugaran Indonesia Grup “Alhamdulillah, bersyukur kepada Allah SWT atas rezekinya. Puaslah bisa semaksimal mungkin membawa Kota Salatiga,” kata Pj Walikota Salatiga , Sinoeng Rahmadi bersama Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kota Salatiga Muh Nasiruddin serta beberapa staf pada bidang Olahraga, yang ditemui seusai pertandingan.
